Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is hiring a Customer Experience Associate in Huntingdon, PA. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help resolve issues at the checkout while ensuring accurate transactions and proper bagging.

You’ll operate the front-end scanner and cash register, maintain knowledge of weekly ads and store layout, and follow health and safety guidelines. May assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED. No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns politely and promptly.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register; bags merchandise efficiently.
• Ensures accurate checkout; handles cash, checks, electronic payments and coupons.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions and store layout to answer questions.
• Maintains general sanitation in the department and keeps areas clean and compliant.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Uses PPE provided and adheres to safety guidelines.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
