Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Macon, GA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions at the register, and keep the store neat and stocked. You will unload merchandise, stock shelves, and support leadership with daily tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; a high school diploma is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
