Job summary

Parker Gas Co. Inc. in Clinton, NC is seeking a customer service representative to handle inquiries and requests via phone and computer at our Clinton location. The role includes back-office duties such as accounts receivable, filing, and creating new customer accounts, as well as safely filling propane cylinders and assembling showroom items.

We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking individual who enjoys meeting people daily and growing with a rapidly expanding company.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree preferred but high-school diploma is sufficient.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift approximately 45 pounds.
• Ability to fill propane cylinders as needed.
• Able to assemble showroom items such as grills.
• Willingness to work within a rotating on-call schedule.
• Desire to succeed in a team environment.
• Industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service for inquiries and requests via phone and computer at Clinton, NC location.
• Back-office tasks including accounts receivable, filing, and setting up new customer accounts.
• Safely fill customer propane cylinders upon request, assemble showroom items and display in showroom.
