Job summary

Coastal Farm in Oregon is seeking a store associate to uphold customer service standards, handle merchandising and signage, and manage pricing and POS operations. You will actively greet customers, answer questions, and assist with locating products throughout the store.

You will also handle phone inquiries, maintain communication with team members, stay informed about promotions, and help with floor moves and store housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and priorities.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find the location of products.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain radio communication with all associates.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
• Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning - vacuuming, replacing full trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
