Job summary

Family Dollar in Florida is seeking a part-time associate to assist customers, process transactions, and maintain a secure, clean store environment. You will help with unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and delivering friendly service while supporting store leaders and fellow associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and replenish merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks per productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
• Follow policies to ensure neat, presentable store conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
