Job summary

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, maintaining displays, operating cash registers and POS equipment, completing shift reports, and assisting with housekeeping. Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to sell alcohol.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform arithmetical calculations at the eighth-grade level.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Indoor and outdoor environment in all kinds of weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer upon arrival.
• Be a team player.
• Assist customers and demonstrate concern.
• Make sales transactions quickly and accurately.
• Develop the ability of “Suggestive Selling.”
• Maintain stock of coolers and shelves.
• Complete shift reports and inventory during vendor check-ins.
• Housekeeping of counters, aisles, gondola shelves, and receiving areas.
• Complete shift duties as directed by Store Manager.
• Treat customers and co-workers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Read and understand instructions for operating cash registers, computers, lottery, and other equipment.
