Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and enjoyment of working with people.
• Strong data entry skills to maintain customer data records and inventories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to learn and navigate web-based applications for the propane industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to walk-in, phone, and email customers.
• Coordinate with Branch Manager to schedule service work.
• Close sales on inbound and outbound calls and emails.
• Solicit and collect payments on past due invoices and manage account balances.
• Handle cash and credit card activities; perform reconciliations.
• Process branch mail and trips to the post office; manage deposits.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports and monitor due dates.
• Order office supplies and forms per procedures; code vendor invoices.
• Assist customers by lifting up to 30 pounds for cylinder fills.
• Occasionally travel within regional area to support operations.
• Support customer retention strategies and growth initiatives.
