Job summary

NORD Gear Corporation is seeking a Customer Order Entry Specialist in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the United States. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One year of experience in order entry, customer service, or inside sales preferred.
  • Experience in a technical or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Power Transmission industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter customer orders into the manufacturing system.
  • Communicate with customers to gather and clarify purchase order information.
  • Partner with the drafting team to confirm and update order details.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation related to customer orders.
  • Support the Customer Experience team by assisting with quote requests from the quotes queue.
  • Provide backup support for incoming customer phone calls and inquiries.
  • Assist with order processing for Key and Target Accounts as assigned.
  • Collaborate across departments to help ensure customers receive the correct products on time.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for processing and managing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency while collaborating with customers, drafting, and production teams to ensure every order is completed correctly and on time.
