Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate to stock and merchandise, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure efficient store operations.

The role requires at least 18 years old, with full-time hours averaging 30+ per week. Starting wage is $19.50 per hour with planned increases over the years, and comprehensive benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and cleaning machinery.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Model and fulfill customer service principles and escalate concerns to store management as necessary.
• Inform store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Use POS system to scan purchases and report scanning issues to management.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain zone standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss reduction goals.
• Comply with company policies and promote a safe working environment.
