Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. at HomeGoods in Spring Hill, TN is seeking a customer-focused associate. You will deliver a highly satisfied customer experience, maintain a clean store environment, and adhere to operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards.

Cross-training to support multiple areas may occur to meet business needs. Starting pay ranges from $13.50 to $14.00 per hour with a focus on teamwork, communication, and attention to detail in a dynamic off-price retail setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer per procedures.
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and follows merchandising standards.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed.
• Maintains store cleanliness and participates in maintenance.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports and participates in shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
