Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the frontline contact for customers, stock merchandise, build displays, and operate the register. You will greet customers, locate items, restock, and help maintain plan-o-grams while following store policies.

The role requires basic math and cash handling, physical ability to lift up to 40–55 pounds, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent walking and standing. Benefits are available.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Build and stock displays; rotate items on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide help at checkout.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store clean and organized; follow company policies.
