Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Team Member to serve customers, stock shelves, and operate cash registers. You will ensure a clean, safe store, assist with merchandising, and help maintain displays in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, guiding customers at checkout, adhering to policies, and supporting store operations to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures and manuals.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow planograms and merchandising guidelines.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions.
• Ability to stock and display merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to exceed the customer's expectations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment.
• Assist in merchandising and creating eye-catching displays.
• Operate cash register(s) and scanner to complete transactions.
• Assist customers at self-checkout across multiple registers.
• Follow store policies and standard operating procedures.
• Keep the store clean and stocked, and set up sidewalk displays.
