Job summary

Binny's is seeking a Customer Service Manager in Bloomington, IL to lead daily store operations and elevate the customer experience. You will supervise staff, drive sales, and ensure adherence to company policies while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires prior retail management experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to train and develop a team. You will coordinate schedules, promotions, and inventory with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1–2 years retail management experience with supervisory/coaching skills.
• Full-time, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, regular attendance.
• Strong interpersonal and confident communication skills.
• Ability to lead and train staff effectively.
• Develop constructive relationships with staff and customers.
• Accurate cash handling and attention to detail.
• Able to pass required alcohol training and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Observe staff interactions and coach to continually improve the customer experience.
• Demonstrate leadership to drive sales and handle challenging transactions.
• Conduct new employee orientations, training, and coaching.
• Use tools to diagnose opportunities and implement improvement plans.
• Communicate with management on strengths, opportunities and trends to increase sales.
• Support hiring to fill open positions and maintain appearance standards.
• Plan schedules to maximize sales while managing payroll within targets.
• Coordinate merchandising and promotions with accurate pricing and signage.
• Assist with inventory management and other duties as assigned.
