Job summary

Macy’s Natick Collection is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to help prioritize the customer experience on the sales floor and lead a team of colleagues. This full-time role focuses on supervision, service culture, and driving sales through promotions and Omni-channel initiatives.

The position requires 1–2 years of related experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate with diverse groups.
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours (days/evenings/weekends/holidays).

Responsibilities

• Provide Active Supervision by circulating the selling floor and directing colleagues to optimize the customer experience.
• Manage customer service issues to completion.
• Manage customer flow on high-traffic days and reallocate resources as needed.
• Lead store activities to ensure readiness and presentation standards.
• Provide fast feedback and recognize peers for practicing desired behaviors.
• Execute store opening and closing procedures; manage access to alarms and keys.
• Oversee daily Fulfillment responsibilities and workload reporting.
• Foster a proactive customer-centric culture and teamwork.
