Job summary

Holmen Cheese, LLC is seeking a Lead Customer Service Specialist to oversee the department, ensure accurate sales order entries, and boost customer satisfaction. The role involves cross-department coordination and hands-on tasks in the plant, including warehouse interactions and preparing samples for shipment.

Candidate must have strong computer skills, including Excel, ERP familiarity, and Outlook, with a readiness to travel to the warehouse and assist with sample handling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Receive calls, emails, mail and parcels; greet visitors; ensure entryways and conference rooms are clean and supplied.
• Customer Service/Sales: Maintain customer relationships; support sales and accounts; manage sample inventory; process sample shipments and sales orders in ERP.
• Supply Chain: Coordinate outbound trucking; schedule outbound shipments; assist drivers with directions.
• Purchasing: Support purchasing and planning; track product; monitor shipment costs.
• NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle export paperwork if applicable; ensure pricing in ERP is up-to-date; participate in monthly Sales and R&D meetings.
• Other: Perform other duties; Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (half hour lunch).
• Physical Requirements: Sit 65%; Stand 35%; lift 0-50 lbs occasionally; occasional 50+ lbs; manual dexterity; moderate plant noise.
