• Understand the store layout and locate products efficiently.
• Inform associates about current, upcoming and in-store promotions affecting the department.
• Stay current with ads and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Maintain awareness of inventory and note discrepancies.
• Observe scheduled shift operating hours.
• Demonstrate creative merchandising in assigned areas.
• Condition products per company policy.
• Understand and perform cashier functions.
• Follow merchandising, customer service, labor control, expense and safety rules.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
