Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years cashiering experience.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to complete the full customer service cycle.
• Effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to train or mentor others positively and constructively.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Adheres to safety, regulatory, and Front End guidelines; uses PPE as required.
• Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Works with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service at the checkout in a professional manner.
• Handle all transactions accurately, give correct change, and enter departments/prices correctly.
• Maintain knowledge of PLUs and register procedures.
• Assist customers with packing and special order pickups as needed.
• Answer questions and provide information about items and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the sales floor and restrooms.
• Assist with inventory counts and store projects as needed.
• Address customer complaints and questions per procedures and guidelines.
