Kroger is seeking a front-line Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store environment in Boise, Idaho. You will help customers, answer questions, and ensure shelves and displays are well-maintained and organized.

Responsibilities include adhering to health and safety codes, assisting with promotions, and performing cashier duties. The role requires basic math, strong communication, and the ability to work a physically demanding shift.

Formación

• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math: counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Must be able to meet the minimum physical demands of the position.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil codes.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Know products well and assist with questions and recommendations.
• Understand the store layout and locate products quickly.
• Inform and educate department associates about current and upcoming promotions.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Monitor inventory and note discrepancies.
• Observe scheduled shift operating hours.
• Demonstrate effective merchandising and maintain product condition.
• Understand cashier functions and operate the register.
• Follow all merchandising, customer service, labor, safety, and loss-prevention policies.
• Report safety risks and unsafe conditions to management.
• Communicate any accidents to management.
