VelocityEHS is seeking a Customer Experience (CX) Intern for a remote Co-op from January 2027 through April 2027. The role runs about 40 hours per week for 14–16 weeks, with possible hybrid arrangements at the Oakville, ON office for select candidates.

As part of the CX team, you will collaborate with Services, Success, and Support to streamline processes, deliver milestones, and contribute to initiatives that enhance customer experience across EHS and sustainability domains.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

VelocityEHS is accepting Co-op/Intern student applicants able to work 40 hours per week between the months of January 2027 - April 2027 for approximately 14-16 weeks.

This is a remote opportunity and is open to candidates that reside anywhere in the United States or Canada. The opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity out of our Oakville, ON office may be available for those interested.

As a Customer Experience (CX Intern) you will be at the heart of our dynamic department, collaborating with teams including Services, Success, and Support. Your mission is to contribute significantly to our department’s success by streamlining our processes, executing deliverables, and fostering collaboration across teams.

In this role, you will be part of a solution that directly improves workers’ lives across the EHS and Sustainability domains. This will be done through a supportive environment where you will have guidance from a mentor, a manager, and a dynamic group of fellow interns. Your time as an intern will begin with extensive onboarding that will prepare you to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In addition, you will gain cross functional exposure across multiple teams, providing you with valuable insights and connections. Your responsibilities within a typical week can include managing different projects with varying timelines, or stepping into reoccurring projects that require routine updates, enhancements, or maintenance to stay within compliance. Throughout your term, you can expect routine check-ins with your mentor, goal setting, and interactions with program leads and other stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a science For example: Kinesiology, Engineering, Public and Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working independently as well as in a team setting
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Organized, thorough, and attentive to detail
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in either/both Software and Environmental, Health & Safety industries is a plus
  • Previous related internship/work term experience preferred
