Job summary

Michaels in Plainview, NY is hiring for a Store Team Member. Responsibilities include helping customers, processing fast checkouts, and supporting inventory and merchandising tasks to keep the store well-stocked and inviting. You will engage customers in rewards programs and assist with BOPIS/SFS while upholding all SOPs and safety policies.

The role requires standing for long periods and ability to lift and move merchandise. All team members enjoy employee discounts and benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery, returns, and in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
