Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the check lane.

• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, and coupons.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss-prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads.
• Maintain food safety and safety procedures.
• Provide welcoming service and answer product questions.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow directions and resolve customer issues.
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
