Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the store.
• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately at the POS.
• Handle tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with age-restricted item policies (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator and follow postales/coupon procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area and assist with safety programs.
• Answer customer questions about products and services and support a welcoming environment.
