Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greeting, engaging and assisting customers.

• Understand POS system and adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to Scan Coordinator.
• Follow procedures for stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety programs.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist customers with product questions and store navigation.
