Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, EBT, coupons and loyalty offers per policy.
• Follow cash handling, loss prevention and restricted item guidelines.
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist customers as needed.
• Possess strong teamwork and conflict resolution skills.
