• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC and coupons per policy.
• Follow guidelines on cash handling, shortages/overages and loss prevention.
• Adhere to restrictions on sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow posted policies (stamps, gift cards).
• Stay current with ads and promotions; maintain food safety guidelines.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report to store management; assist with safety programs.
