Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Keen math skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist customers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 25+/- pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process transactions accurately with cash, credit, and debit payments.

• Handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and restock supplies.
• Monitor discrepancies or suspicious activities at checkout.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety and security procedures to protect customers and assets.
• Restock shelves and maintain a neat store environment.
• General cleaning of store areas including restrooms and parking lot.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
