Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Customer Experience Attendant is responsible for the following duties, among others:

1. Greeting customers cheerfully and thanking them upon departure, answering questions, and assisting to ensure excellent customer service.
2. Safely retrieving shopping carts from the premises, ensuring they are not left in parking areas, and maintaining cleanliness of carts and surrounding areas.
3. Helping customers by loading groceries into vehicles.
4. Maintaining cleanliness of the parking lot, store vestibule, and front-end areas, including trash and recycling receptacles.
5. Monitoring safety issues, especially at entrances and exits, to prevent hazards.
6. Assisting cashiers by bagging groceries, responding promptly to intercom pages, and performing general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
7. Operating cleaning equipment (training provided), maintaining equipment in good repair.
8. Keeping the sales floor and sidewalks free of slip and trip hazards, including snow and ice removal.
9. Reporting repairs, maintenance needs, unsafe conditions, and supply shortages to management.
10. Cooperating with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and continuous job performance improvement.
11. Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred; no prior experience required. Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.

Rate of Pay and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $15.00, up to $22.00. Benefits include medical plans, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, voluntary insurance options, 401(k), scholarships, employee discounts, paid time off, and more, subject to eligibility.
