About Capitol Bridge: Founded in 2012, Capitol Bridge is based in Arlington, Virginia, specializing in independent medical reviews, records/data management, medical coding, administrative staffing, and eligibility reviews.

Job Overview: We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Arbiter to arbitrate/decide payment disputes, analyze documentation, and manage case files. The ideal candidate has strong Microsoft skills, excellent writing abilities, and keen attention to detail.

Location: Remote (preferably CST or EST zones)

Pay & Benefits: Base salary $70,000-$90,000 based on experience, with medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid holidays and vacation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Arbitrate and decide payment disputes.
  2. Remain neutral, analyze materials, and write concise determinations within deadlines.
  3. Review cases, summarize facts, and assess issues.
  4. Research federal law, regulations, and contract law.
  5. Communicate determinations clearly.
  6. Exercise independent judgment for accurate, supported decisions.
  7. Manage complex case files and perform other duties as assigned.
  8. Draft and review payment decisions and email responses.
  9. Interpret regulations and policies to formulate recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Juris Doctorate preferred.
  • 3+ years relevant professional experience.
  • Experience arbitrating/disputing in the medical field.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Office.
