Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC in Heidelberg, Mississippi is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, handle sales at the register, and ensure the store stays clean and well-stocked.

You will unload merchandise, replenish shelves, and maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and colleagues. Part-time positions are available with opportunities for growth and promotion within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs., frequent walking and standing, and other physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
