Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Dakota LLC in Flandreau, SD is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, stock, and maintain a clean store.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Part-time hours with opportunities to grow within the company are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
