Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Dakota LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in our Eagle Butte store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep shelves stocked and the store clean.

Ideal candidates have prior retail or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role supports a friendly, safe, and efficient shopping environment for customers and team members alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, and bending.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Unload trucks and replenish stock per productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
