Job summary

Dollar Tree in Elizabethton, Tennessee is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers with questions, process transactions at the register, and maintain a friendly, helpful store environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and strong communication and organizational skills. You will support stocking, merchandising, and safety while delivering a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
