Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New Mexico LLC in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, run the register, stock shelves, and keep the store safe and tidy. This part-time position offers opportunities to develop in a busy retail environment.

You will greet customers, process transactions, assist with merchandise, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment while following store policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment for customers and associates.
