Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a part-time Front End Associate to provide exceptional customer service and help maintain a welcoming store environment in Colorado.

You will greet customers, assist with product selection, operate checkout, and support front-end operations to achieve sales and efficiency goals. Responsibilities include training peers on front-end policies, handling price checks, and ensuring store safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or training.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant working and shopping environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service by demonstrating sincerity, patience and respect in all customer interactions.
• Greet customers in a genuine and friendly manner and assist them with product needs and retrieving items.
• Anticipate customer needs and resolve questions and issues promptly to strengthen loyalty.
• Oversee front end operations to meet sales, labor goals and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Determine work priorities to maintain front end conditions.
• Ensure prompt, accurate checkout and adherence to policies and laws.
• Train and coach associates on front end procedures to reduce shrink and waste.
• Communicate pricing discrepancies to the pricing coordinator.
