Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Minimum 2 years in Customer Service, preferably in environmental/safety or rental field
• Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

• Handle intake inquiries for equipment rental, order status, and general questions
• Develop and issue quotes for products and services
• Follow up on quotes and record outcomes in Pine’s database
• Review orders to confirm equipment, accessories, and special contract instructions
• Assist branch sales and marketing through calls and emails
• Communicate order confirmations and follow up on delivery
• Update database with call-off details and scheduling deliveries/pickups
• Assist in locating equipment and coordinating shipping logistics
• Process billing/invoicing and credit card payments as needed
• Promote health and safety and maintain organized, clean office

Purpose

The Customer Engagement Representative’s primary responsibility is to support Pine customers by responding to inquiries about rental equipment, as well as sales of our products and services. These efforts result in the growth of the Branch. In addition, this role will support our operations and outside sales team, as well as other offices and departments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Intake customer inquiries for equipment rental, order status, andgeneral questions.
• Develop and issue quotes for our products and services.
• Follow up on quotes, record in Pine’s database the outcome.
• Review customer orders to confirm that equipment, accessories, consumables, quantities,price,and any special contract instructions are understood.
• Assistin branch sales and marketing efforts through outgoing phone calls and emails.
• Communicate customer Order Confirmations andfollowup upon delivery.
• Update Pine’s database with details and Call-Off information.
• Assistin scheduling delivery and pick-up oforders.
• Assistinlocatingequipment and shippinglogistics.
• Help provide solutions when customers have issues.
• Enter repair orders when needed.
• Setup product replacement when needed.
• Maintaining contract files and customer correspondence.
• Record & investigate customer inquiries.
• PO processing whennecessary.
• Billing/Invoicing customers.
• Credit card processing when needed.
• Promote a positive Health and Safety attitude / workplace.
• Have a basic understanding of our equipment and howit’sused.
• Keep a clean, organized well-maintained office.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Core Competencies

• Excellent Communication Skills- Written, Verbal, Interpersonal, and Phone.
• Ability to think analytically, with focus on problem troubleshooting.
• A flexible andstrong teamplayer that can work in a fast-pacedenvironment.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma/GED or Higher
• 2 years of Customer Service Experience, preferably in the environmental/safety or rental field

This is a non-safety sensitive position. Employee will be in an office environment. Employee will bend, walk, stand and may sit for long periods of time. This position is 70% sedentary and 30% active and may include activities such as walking, standing, bending, stretching, climbing (ladder). Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs assisted or unassisted.
