Job summary

Prologis in the United States seeks a Manager, Customer Energy Analytics & Insights – Central Region. You will bridge customers, real estate, and the energy team to translate needs into actionable insights.

Responsibilities include qualifying energy needs, documenting requirements, and scoping early-stage opportunities with Origination and Development teams. Applicants should have 5+ years in energy or related fields and electrical engineering experience; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in energy, electric utilities, commercial real estate, or related fields.
• Electrical engineering experience related to power/energy topics.
• Experience with electric utility processes including interconnection filings and feasibility studies.
• Experience applying data analytics to investment or project decisions.
• Ability to engage customers and stakeholders across functions and translate analysis into actions.
• Ability to develop executive-level communications for strategic alignment.
• Knowledge of behind-the-meter energy technologies (solar, storage, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Qualify customer energy needs by analyzing on-site electrical infrastructure and grid conditions.
• Document customer requirements, schedules, and initial financial assumptions with Utility Engagement and Origination.
• Scope early-stage energy opportunities with Origination and Development, identifying key constraints and risks.
• Identify access-to-power blockers with Real Estate, Legal, and energy SMEs, assessing impacts on scope, cost, and schedule.
• Provide inputs for early-stage investment gates and pro forma assumptions.
• Coordinate handoffs to Origination, Development, and Execution, ensuring consistency of customer needs.
• Serve as the technical feasibility resource for energy and electrical-design questions in discussions with customers and real estate.
