Job summary

Sonny’s BBQ is seeking Front-of-House team members in Lakeland, FL. You will deliver memorable guest experiences, seat guests, process payments, and work with kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are team players with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and a flexible schedule. Training and certification programs may be required by the company or the state.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Can be calm under pressure
• Time management skills
• Able to account for and process cash and credit transactions
• Must be dependable and can maintain a flexible schedule
• Attend and successfully complete any ongoing training or certification programs required by the company, federally, or by the state as it relates to this position.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service
• Ability to upsell guests beyond their orders
• Process transactions and collect payment
• Assist with restocking items
• Interact with guests upon arrival and seat them accordingly
• Communicate with the kitchen staff
• Complete assigned cleaning duties and side work
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned
