Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to be a friendly point of contact for customers, assist with locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean. This role supports store profitability and customer satisfaction under the supervision of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, stocking, and participating in store upkeep and displays. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to provide excellent service.
• Operate cash register, scan items, total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Follow merchandise processes; unpack, stock, rotate merchandise, and build displays.
• Keep the store clean, take out trash, mop floors, and assist with sidewalk displays.
