Job summary

The Children’s Place in Livermore, CA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, applying product knowledge and effective selling techniques to drive results.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting current promotions, maintaining stock levels and clean stockrooms, and processing transactions at the cashwrap with the PLACE Card awareness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with urgency and prioritization of service.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Explain promotions and features, offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to boost conversions.
• Assist at cashwrap and promote PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes are represented.
• Follow merchandise presentation and signage standards.
• Keep stockroom neat, safe, and organized; ensure a customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Prevent loss with adherence to procedures.
• Report maintenance needs to Store Leadership promptly.
• Contribute to store goals with focused effort.
• Process stock as needed to support operations.
