Job summary

Market Value Inc. seeks a friendly Retail Assistant to welcome customers, assist with product inquiries, and support a positive in-person shopping experience in Phoenix.

You will help customers locate products, explain features and pricing, participate in ongoing product training, and collaborate with the team to meet daily sales and service objectives.

High school diploma required; prior retail or customer service experience preferred. Must be reliable, with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional assistance during in-person interactions.
• Assist customers with locating and exploring available products and services.
• Answer questions regarding product features, benefits, and available options.
• Help customers identify products that align with their needs and preferences.
• Communicate current promotional offers, product information, and pricing details accurately.
• Support daily retail sales activities through attentive customer engagement.
• Assist customers with comparing products and understanding key differences.
• Introduce new products and explain their features and practical benefits.
• Provide basic product demonstrations when applicable.
• Guide interested customers through product selections and purchasing procedures.
• Maintain familiarity with current merchandise, services, and promotional initiatives.
• Assist with preparing and organizing merchandise displays and product information.
• Ensure customer-facing displays remain clean, accessible, and professionally presented.
• Monitor product availability and communicate replenishment needs to team members.
• Help organize promotional materials and retail supplies.
• Address routine customer questions and refer complex inquiries to appropriate colleagues.
• Support customer satisfaction through courteous communication and dependable assistance.
• Gather customer feedback and share relevant observations with team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support daily retail and customer service objectives.
• Participate in product training, retail briefings, and team meetings.
• Follow established company procedures for customer interactions and product handling.
