Job summary

VRC Companies in Houston, TX seeks a Driver to operate vans or box trucks for customer locations. You will report to the Director of Operations and ensure compliance with transportation laws and company policies while delivering high-quality service.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, MVR and background checks, and willingness to work overtime, including holidays. Safety and accuracy are essential in daily duties.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
MVR Check.
Background check.
Must be able to pass random drug screens.
Must be able to carry a cell phone to be in constant communication with the Records Center.
Strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
Must be able to work overtime and available around the clock including holidays.
Strong directional awareness and navigational skills.
Commercial Driver’s License, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for service needs.
Report to work on time prepared to perform the duties of the position.
Meet department productivity and quality standards.
Receive, comprehend, and respond appropriately to direction.
Work with customers to fulfill customer service requests.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or DOO.
In inclement weather, report to work two hours before schedule to handle delays and tire chains if necessary.
