Hajoca in Bradenton, FL is seeking a friendly Delivery Driver Non CDL to join our team. You’ll operate trucks safely, load and unload merchandise, verify shipments, and provide excellent customer service at every stop.

Requirements include being at least 21, holding a valid driver’s license, passing a DOT physical, and maintaining a clean driving record. You will follow company rules and meet daily delivery goals while working independently.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate trucks safely.
• Pass a Department of Transportation physical exam before starting and periodically after.
• Maintain a clean driving record suitable for Authorized Driver status.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and laws.
• Load the truck with merchandise, secure load, and ensure unloading equipment is available.
• Understand shipping documents and provide accurate directions to destinations.
• Review shipping documentation for order accuracy.
• Unload merchandise at receiving site and obtain signatures as required.
• Collect payments for cash deliveries prior to releasing material.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies with customers at delivery sites.
• Load at vendor locations and note prospective customer names for sales leads.
• Inspect truck and safety-related parts; report mechanical problems.
• Complete daily vehicle inspection reports on relevant GVWR vehicles.
