Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL license with hazmat endorsement if required for the vehicle.
• Hazmat endorsement if operating vehicles that require placarding for hazardous materials.
• Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before starting and periodically thereafter.
• Driving record must meet company criteria for Authorized Driver.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and laws.
• Load truck with Hajoca merchandise and secure loads properly.
• Understand and verify shipping documents and directions to deliveries.
• Unload merchandise and obtain legible customer signatures.
• Collect payments for cash deliveries before release of merchandise.
• Provide sales leads discovered during deliveries.
• Inspect truck and accessories for safe operation before departure.
• Complete required safety and compliance training.
