Job summary

JCPenney in New Jersey is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales at the checkout. You will greet shoppers, assist with returns, and promote rewards programs while maintaining accurate register procedures.

Youll also support omnichannel initiatives, assist with inventory and room recovery, and uphold safety and shrink-reduction standards as part of daily performance goals.

Qualifications

• Greets and assists customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Promotes Findmore and other programs to drive sales and enhance service.
• Supports credit, rewards and gift card programs and helps resolve customer questions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; maintain high service and sales standards.
• Complete checkout processes including returns and re-ticketing; support signage and merchandising at checkouts.
• Assist with Omnichannel efforts, recovery, put backs and inventory tasks.
• Meet performance standards for shrink, safety and service metrics as part of iCAP program.
