Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a personable Cashier to be the face of our store and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, customer-friendly environment. You will process transactions, assist customers, stock and maintain checkout areas, and help with store communications.

The role requires 1–2 years cashiering experience, an 18+ age minimum, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. We offer scheduling flexibility, a 15% employee discount, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with the ability to engage customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Lift/carry up to 30 lbs., move carts up to 35 lbs. as needed.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately and politely.
• Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide change.
• Assist customers with product locations and store information.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and front-end shelves.
• Support front end team and communicate with Head Cashier as needed.
