Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a Test Engineer to own server- and rack-level hardware and firmware validation during customer bring-up and early deployment, acting as the technical bridge between AMD engineering, major data center customers, and global ODM partners.

You will drive automation, debugging, and process improvements, mentoring junior engineers and shaping long-range validation strategy across CPU/GPU systems. Seattle-based role with potential relocation to Santa Clara or Austin.

Qualifications

• Experience validating complex CPU/GPUs in a system.
• Strong automation, debugging, and regression skills.
• Leadership in driving complex issues to closure with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical innovation to improve AMD’s validation capabilities, including tool/script development and documentation.
• Debug issues during bring-up, validation, and production phases of accelerator programs.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and track test execution to ensure timely feature validation.
• Collaborate closely with supporting technical teams to resolve issues.
• Engage in software/hardware modeling frameworks.
