Job summary

Amplitude is seeking a Customer Data Scientist to combine deep experimentation expertise, applied statistics, and customer-facing technical consulting. You will help world-class product and engineering teams evaluate, adopt, and scale modern experimentation programs within our platform.

This highly strategic role partners with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to influence platform direction and ensure rigorous experimentation capabilities for customers.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in experimentation design and statistical methodology.
• Proven ability to advise customers on metrics, measurement frameworks, and experimentation architecture.
• Experience educating teams on best practices in experimentation and metric development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary experimentation expert during customer evaluations and guide technical discussions from discovery through proof of concept.
• Partner with data scientists, engineers, and technical leaders to advise on experiment design, statistics, measurement frameworks, and architecture.
• Help customers build scalable, trustworthy experimentation programs by sharing best practices and driving adoption of robust methodologies.
