Job Title: Customer Coordinator

Pay Grade: 4

Salary:$45,792

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Customer Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the condition and use of the Central Passenger Terminal Complex (CPTC) and the overall airport for the purpose of maintaining a comfortable, safe, functional, and healthy environment.

As the first line of defense representing the customer, Customer Coordinator serves an important role in identifying and resolving issues impacting the customer’s experience at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously review the performance of custodial partners to ensure that services rendered meet contract specifications. Notes deficiencies, initiates corrective action, and follows up to ensure that work is promptly performed in a satisfactory manner.
• Support continuous process improvement by studying processes and procedures to identify causes for non-compliance, communicating findings and ensuring corrective action.
• Perform assigned Preventative Maintenance checks.
• Respond to internal/external customer requests through coordination with custodial and maintenance services.
• Ensure all health, safety and security procedures are adhered to and areas of concern are reported to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Provide written and verbal reports about service level performance, problem areas and discrepancy updates.
• Establish/maintain working relationships with the internal/external customers and other departmental AATC team members to ensure the highest level of communications and customer service.
• Identify discrepancies and enter in work order system.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable. Must be able to drive company vehicles safely on airport property and as needed. (Or at least the statement that is contained in the CC job description)
• Work environment includes both inside and outside conditions with exposure to various weather situations to include rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift and carry/push up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available to work or be called in to work 24/7. Shift work based on a seniority schedule.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general maintenance and/or custodial services, with prior janitorial experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a 10-year background search by fingerprint analysis.
