Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester Division is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support the sales team with exceptional customer service and daily contract administration in a hybrid OEM/CRO environment.

You will manage order status, coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering, maintain ERP data, respond to government solicitations, and assist in proposal tracking and pricing updates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Account Management or related role within manufacturing.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and export controls (EAR/ITAR) preferred.
• Strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders and problem solving.
• Proven negotiation and diplomacy skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and advocate for their needs.
• Provide proactive communication on order status through production cycles.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery and accurate metrics.
• Maintain customer demand and backlog data in ERP.
• Review government solicitations, RFQs, and contract reviews.
• Support proposal development and pricing updates.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Quality, Production, and Accounts Receivable.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with disputes and collections.
