Job summary

Barnes Aerospace is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support the sales team with exceptional customer service and daily contract administration. You will ensure contract compliance, manage orders, and coordinate with multiple departments to safeguard backlog and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate ERP data, handling quotes and orders, and resolving issues while buildingstrong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in account management or related manufacturing role.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and export controls (EAR/ITAR).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and advocate for their needs.
• Provide proactive order status updates through the production cycle and address concerns.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure on-time delivery and maintain delivery metrics.
• Maintain ERP customer data, quotes, POs, schedules, and portal entries.
• Review FAR/DFARS solicitations and contract terms with stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Production, and Quality to meet goals.
• Support AR by resolving discrepancies and managing payment terms.
